I havent written anything in here lately, and i cant think of writing anything now, but i have what i think are funny pics and will share those

Thought this funny, You know your living in 2009 when..

YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2009 when...

1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.

2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.

3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.

4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.

5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.

6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.

7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.

8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60)
years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.

10. You get up in the morning and go online before getting your coffee.

11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. :)

12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.

Washing my clothes

Today i woke knowing that my sister would be over later in the day, so i decided to get some housework done before she turned up.

One of it was washing my clothes, i put the clothes in the washing machine and then went and got some breakfast as well as doing a bit of tidy up.

I have my breakfast ready and go and do what i usually do which is to sit in front of the computer to read my emails and do stuff like that.

When i walked out of the kitchen i felt like screaming and crying at the same time, the water from the washing machine had come out, it was streaming down the carpet of my hallway, putting my breakfast down and rushing to the washing machine, i got it turned off and started mopping up the floor.

I thought i would look at the machine and see if there was a reason this was happening and tried to get the water to come out of the machine, it would come out for awhile then it would stop, so i decided to look at the hose of the machine, when i did that, all the water started to pour out of the machine, finally i got a bucket under it, but some of the water had escaped to where the water had been that i mopped up.

I ended up spending around 1 hour trying to mop the water up, it has gone into the carpet, down my hallway into the lounge room, it has also gone into the room i have my computers in.

It is winter here at the moment and i have 2 heaters going as well as a fan trying to dry the carpet up that the water had gone onto.

My sister meanwhile turned up just after i finished moping up the floor.....

In 1970 how 2000 will look

Talking to a friend the other day on the net we started talking about when we where children, and what our parents told us would probably happen

My online friend is in America and i found it funny that some of the things she was told would happen where really close to what i was told here in Australia.

The first one was driving and cars, seems we where both told that by the time we got our licence and where able to drive we would probably have cars that flew, like in the show The Jetsons, we are both still waiting for the flying cars...

But then of course a few years after we had the flying cars, we would have Teleports, like in Star Trek.

Oh another favourite one was when the earth would die, there where shows about it and people really got worried, the year for that to happen was anywhere between 2007 and 2012, hmmm we are still here and i cant see it happening. This became because of a person from many years ago called Nostradamus

The other one was that in 2000, all the computers would stop working, we would be in darkness, no food all those sorts of things. In Australia i remember them selling survival kits, from memory what you got in them was, water, purification tablets, a torch and some batteries, there where other things as well in the kit, but i cant remember them all, my friend in America said that they didn't have them there where she lives

Silly things that people say can happen isn't it....

Nasty Surprise

I got rung by my old neighbour saying that another letter had turned up for me, when i opened it, it is a letter from a Solicitor saying that i owe $495.00 to a video store.

I haven't rented a DVD for ages, i rang the place today them asking why i owe the money, it seems that one of my nephews had been using my card, renting videos and PlayStation games and not returning them.

Ive got the amount down to $215.00 so far, but I'm still asking why i owe this amount and why isn't it less seeing though i haven't lived at that address for over 4 years and its not my fault that i hadn't received any letters from them.

They are saying that as the video card had a password on it, i am liable grrrrr.

I am going to ring my sister and see if i can get some of the money owing so i don't need to pay it all, crossing my fingers she will agree but i really doubt it...

I am waiting at the moment for them to ring me back to tell me the correct price that needs to be paid
