Knitting

I like to knit

I like how you can get pieces of wool and with twisting them into knots using knitting needles you create something.

The latest thing i have been trying to knit is a small teddy bear, one that ends up about 6cm tall, i had been searching on the net, and trying to work out ways to make patterns i already have smaller but they never seemed to work.

Not the type of person to give up, i decided to search again and i found exactly the type of pattern i was looking for.....much happier now, and kniting them takes gee 20 mins lol

Here is a link to the pattern in case anyone is interested

Kids Carnival

On Saturday i went to a childrens carnival day, everything was free, they had loads of different rides, a barbecue, fairy floss, popcorn and soft drinks...

The reason i went mainly was that some friends of mine are in a line dancing group i wanted to see how far they have got with the dancing since i stopped doing it with them, they have improved in leaps and bounds, so many different dances i wouldnt have a clue how to do, made me thing if i stayed doing it, maybe i would know these ones as well lol...

I also have a other friends that are in local bands, they practice near where i work, so i get to hear them all the time, but i wanted to go along and support them and see them actually perform instead of just listening to them through shut doors, they did a great job i thought, i forgot to take photos of them though...

I meet some other friends while there and helped with looking after her children and making sure they where ok on rides, standing there i kept thinking dam im a grown up now so i cant get on any of the rides hehehehhehe, it would have been fun to go on a little train ride

Weird Sex Game

I read this and had to laugh, i know i shouldnt, but it amazes me the different sexual activities that people get up too...

This is up there on the weird things i have heard

OTTAWA (Reuters) - A Canadian man who asked his lover to carve a heart-shaped symbol on his chest during a rough sex game almost died when she accidentally pressed too hard and punctured his heart, a newspaper said on Thursday.

The Winnipeg Free Press said the 25-year-old woman had been sentenced to three years' probation after she pleaded guilty to assaulting the man in February 2007.

The 24-year-old man was initially given little chance of survival but made a full recovery and is backing the woman. Both had been drinking heavily and engaging in rough sex when he asked the woman to carve the symbol, the paper said.

A Poem i wrote

I wrote this poem the other day and am adding it to my blog in case i loose it

It may not be great, but you cant be good at everything.....

stars sparkling

in the moonlight sky

your smile shining

light floating by

my love for you

will sharpen the night

while i dance in daises

beneath the firelight

Promotions i do

I do Volounteer work for a small agency that is run through SSWAHS.

Part of what i do is put together a newsletter that comes out bi-monthly as well as make posters for organisations that use the offices/meeting rooms we have, as well as any activites that need to be promoted.

One i have done is for a organisation called GROW (it gets people together to help get through any mental heal issues they may have).

This poster is now being used as the main Flyer....

Is so cool, as some of the things i make i dont think are really any good

Frozen Babies

Babies from poor eastern regions, seem to be getting frozen, or burying them in flower pots, buckets and fish tanks by their mothers who can not afford to look after the child

One mother in the eastern town of Brieskow-Finkenheerd was sentenced to 15 years in prison for killing eight of her babies

Another mother a 44-year-old woman from Germany is on suspicion of killing three of her babies and storing their corpses in the family freezer, one of the babies had newspapers near dated December 1988, the babies where found by two of the woman's three children after they stumbled upon a plastic bag containing one of the bodies while there where searching for a pizza in the deep freezer

In France police detained a French couple after the body of a newborn baby was found in their freezer.
the fourth such case of apparent infanticide to come to light in France in the past two years.

In Germany, in an attempt to save the babies lives, some clinics have installed hatches where desperate mothers can leave unwanted babies anonymously.
